Core tasks
You are the link between the supplier and our client.
- You visit existing suppliers and approach new suppliers.
- You can empathise with the challenges and dynamics faced by these suppliers.
- You are a high-level discussion partner for the supplier; what challenges are they facing and what are their objectives?
- Expanding the business in collaboration with the supplier and achieving the ambitious objectives together.
- You are responsible for managing and expanding the current client portfolio.
- You will be responsible for further expanding the client base (acquisition).
- You seek out and identify possibilities and opportunities.

As a Business Account Manager, you’re bursting with energy, and that’s exactly what you radiate. Naturally, you’re commercially strong, an excellent communicator and able to spot and seize opportunities. It’s all about building relationships with clients and customers – and not only do you understand this, you also really enjoy it!
- HBO level of working and thinking.
- Preferably a completed commercial qualification.
- An affinity with procurement, sales and retail.
- You are eager to learn, independent, proactive, socially skilled, customer-focused and empathetic.
- Ability to empathise with (and recognise) the issues faced by customers and suppliers.
- Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Knowledge of other languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, etc. is a valuable asset.
- Experience with premium brands is an advantage.
