That is why we are looking for a trader who knows how to spot them.  <\/p>\n<p>To support our continued growth, we are looking for an FMCG International Trader who thrives on developing new business, building relationships and securing successful deals.<\/p>\n<p>At GT Retail, our mission is to continually exceed the expectations of our suppliers and our customers.<\/p>\n<h2>What will you be doing?<\/h2>\n<p>As an International Trader, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our trading activities within Europe.<\/p>\n<p>You actively build a network of suppliers and customers, closely monitor market developments and know how to turn commercial opportunities into tangible results.<\/p>\n<p>You will be in frequent contact with existing and new business contacts, visiting clients and suppliers, and representing GT-Retail at international trade fairs and events.<\/p>\n<h3>Your responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.<\/li>\n<li>Actively approaching suppliers, brand owners, distributors and retailers.<\/li>\n<li>Building and maintaining sustainable commercial relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating prices, volumes and commercial terms.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying market developments and new business opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Expanding existing trade flows and opening up new markets.<\/li>\n<li>Visits to customers, suppliers and international trade fairs.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with colleagues from operations, logistics and finance to ensure the optimal processing of orders.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for turnover, profit margin and commercial growth within your market area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Who are you?<\/h2>\n<p>You are an honest and capable trader. Someone who understands how international trade works, recognises opportunities and thrives on closing deals. You have gained experience within a commercial trading environment and have demonstrated your ability to develop new business and build relationships.  <\/p>\n<h3>You have<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in international trade, FMCG, wholesale, retail, import\/export or a similar commercial environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in developing new business and commercial relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.<\/li>\n<li>An entrepreneurial spirit and a results-oriented mindset.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>A good command of Dutch and English.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>A strong advantage<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A relevant network within FMCG, retail, distribution or wholesale.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with premium brands.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in an additional European language such as German, French, Spanish or Italian.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What do we offer?<\/h2>\n<p>At GT-Retail, you\u2019ll be given the freedom to be entrepreneurial within an ambitious and growing organisation.
